Susan Aitcheson, C.P.A., CGMA

Susan Aitcheson is the Chief Financial Officer at the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), where she manages financial strategy, and oversees all financial and contractual functions. Ms. Aitcheson brings over 30 years of financial management experience in private, public and nonprofit sectors.
Ms. Aitcheson joined CIT in 2005. Prior to being named CFO in 2016, she served as Accounting Manager and Controller. Before joining CIT, Ms. Aitcheson worked in private industry, as well as in public accounting, specializing in nonprofit organizations.
Ms. Aitcheson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond E. Claiborne Robins School of Business Administration. She is licensed as a certified public accountant in Virginia. She has served on the board and as Treasurer of Legacy Farms, a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of adults with autism and other developmental challenges.
