Future Energy Electronics Center Team Places 3rd In Google Inverter Competition

Dr. Jason Lai, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech and FY2012 CRCF award recipient, led a team from Virginia Tech in the Google Little Box Challenge. The team’s focus was on the inverter design competition, and out of 2000+ team worldwide, Dr. Lai’s team was the only team from the U.S. and academic that was named a Top 3 Finalist.
