A live webinar with Q&A was hosted on Monday, January 13 at 2 p.m. For those that weren't able to participate or who wish to revisit the session, both the full recording and the presentation slides (no audio) are available from the links above. This session pulled together into one presentation much of the information also available in the topic-specific videos below, along with additional insights into the submission and review process.

One-on-One Conversations

Invited applicants were given the opportunity to discuss their application during a one-on-one conversation with a CRCF team member between January 8 and 21. Should you have specific questions regarding your application prior to the February 7 submission deadline, please reach out to the CRCF team at and we'd be glad to assist you.

Before You Begin...

Before you begin preparing your application, we strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the foundational materials. Each program has a dedicated set of materials, so it is important to ensure you are downloading those specific to the program you've been approved to apply under. If you have any questions about this, contact the CRCF team at

Program guidelines will provide critical direction regarding content sought in your project's required proposal, budget, and appendix, along with the format these application components are to be prepared, including the use of templates. The evaluation forms used by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess the technical feasibility and merit of your project have also been made available.

Preparing Your Proposal

In addition to the application questions you will complete online, applicants are required to prepare a proposal, budget, and appendix, which will be uploaded into this online form. Each set of program guidelines, accessible from the above table, will detail what is required in these documents. Resources beyond the guidelines are not available for the appendix.

To access the online application, you must click on the unique link shared with you in the December 13 invitation email. This information is not found elsewhere on this site or within other materials. If you do not have access to the invitation, email the CRCF team at, referencing your organization name and PI's last name, and we'd be happy to provide you with the link. Applications must be submitted via the online portal to be considered.
