CIT is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in order to better understand the overall need for and interest in state funding to advance Virginia-based research and commercialization by Virginia's public and private institutions of higher education, the private sector, federal labs, other research institutes, and political subdivisions. In addition to the research and commercialization funding, CIT is also seeking to understand the level of need for Commonwealth assistance in financing science and technology facilities used to commercialize research in localities and at institutions.

Responses are needed on or before Monday, August 8, 2011.
