Albert Pan, Ph.D., moved his laboratory this summer from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University to join the VTCRI, where he also serves as the Commonwealth Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) Eminent Research Scholar in Developmental Neuroscience.

CRCF FY2016 awardee, Pancopia, Inc., has been awarded an Excellence in Technology Transfer Project of the Year 2017 award from the Federal Lab Consortium (FLC) for the development of a next-generation water purification system for NASA’s use on the International Space Station and future Mars missions. CRCF supported Pancopia’s NASA SBIR Phase I award for the development of this system, specifically adapting the technology to treat municipal wastewater.
