Join SPTC and Janet Copenhaver, Director of Technology at Henry County Public Schools, who will discuss her experiences with digital textbooks.
Henry County Public Schools has years of experience utilizing mobile devices as digital textbooks. In 2010 they were selected as one of the four schools in Virginia to pilot the Beyond Textbooks program. This initiative was designed to explore the potential of wireless technology and digital textbooks to enhance teaching and learning. Janet is an Apple distinguished educator and has been featured in Apple webcasts sharing her innovative ideas for incorporating technology in the school system and classrooms.

When registering for a Tech Bunch for Lunch event, you agree to pay the registration fee regardless of whether you attend the event. The lunch/catering orders are placed based on the total number of registrations received. If you have registered and can not attend an event, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance to cancel your registration and be issued a refund.
