Cybersecurity & Privacy Committee Event: Security Threats: What keeps you awake at night? (07:30 AM - 09:30 AM)
The NVTC Cybersecurity and Privacy Committee has assembled and all-star lineup to address cybersecurity issues. Representatives from world renowned security firms Symantec, Mandiant and Verizon will be discussing their most current threat reports, and a representative from NIST will address many of these issues. Workforce NOW Workshop: Managing Up: Tips for Dealing with your Boss (08:00 AM - 09:30 AM)
Having a good working relationship with your boss and understanding the dynamics of interdependence between boss and subordinate is key to success. In this class you will learn how to "read" the boss, how to recognize one's own strengths and weaknesses, what good relationship building skills are, and how to apply this knowledge to interactions with the boss.
