Caroline Stolle Gorham
Program Assistant
Caroline Stolle joined CIT in 2011 and has worked as the program assistant for CIT Broadband since the beginning of NTIA’s State Broadband Initiative. She has been coordinating Virginia’s broadband mapping effort working with broadband providers and the Virginia GIS team to create and update the Virginia Broadband Map. Caroline also coordinates Virginia’s broadband planning initiatives including the ecommerce and health IT assessments, the Community Broadband Planning Strategies project and training workshops, and the Indian country broadband project. Caroline has also worked with individual counties in assessing their current broadband status and resources as well as determining the next appropriate steps in their broadband projects.
Caroline graduated from Virginia Tech where she double majored in communication and psychology and was on the softball team. Before joining the CIT team, Caroline worked as the marketing coordinator for the Children’s Museum of Richmond.
