Brooke Bell
Director of Information Research Services
In the role of Director of Information Research Services, Ms. Bell manages a process for technology evaluation and market analysis to provide direct technology scouting service linking large technology users with innovation sources, ranging from start-up companies to Federal laboratories. She has over 15 years experience in the design, development, execution and management of technology projects and programs. Prior to assuming her current role in 2007, Ms. Bell served as the Regional Director of the Richmond Regional Office and is experienced with assisting technology-based businesses become more competitive through basic business planning and market research, technology analysis, federal grants and contract assistance, university expertise, and entrepreneurial support.
Before joining CIT in 1999, Ms. Bell was a research coordinator with the University of Virginia's Plastic Surgery Research team. Ms. Bell holds a bachelor's of science from the Pennsylvania State University with minor emphasis in both business and gerontology and a Master's of Business Administration from Averett University.
