Director of Investments

The Center for Innovative Technology is seeking a Director of Investments to join its CIT GAP Funds investment team.  CIT GAP Funds makes seed-stage equity investments in Virginia-based technology and life science companies with a high potential for achieving rapid growth and generating significant economic return.  The Director of Investments is responsible for sourcing and conducting due diligence on early stage technology companies, closing investment transactions, and helping to develop portfolio companies.  Successful candidates must have a proven history of helping to grow technology companies through 10+ years’ prior experience spanning one or more of the following: venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, tech company management and/or start-up company operations.  A technical background and masters degree in business administration is preferred.  Please email your resume to jobs@cit.org  or fax to 703-689-3041.  EOE
