Linda E. Gentry has been with CIT since 1987. As Chief Financial Officer, she is part of the Executive Management Team that is responsible for providing leadership and policy development concerning the advancement of technology-based commerce in Virginia. As part of her responsibilities, she manages the functions of Planning, Information Technology, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Operations & Facilities, Human Resources, Training and Metric Development. Ms. Gentry holds the positions of Corporate Treasurer and Secretary and counsels the Board of Directors on critical financial and corporate programs. Ms. Gentry also holds officer positions with the Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority, Innovative Technology Authority, and Innovative Technology Foundation.

With over 20 years experience, which includes six years of international finance experience, Ms. Gentry has worked in a variety of industries. Prior to joining CIT, she worked for Intertek Services International Ltd. as Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Gentry is on the Board of Directors for Leadership Farifax and is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for ServiceSource. She is a certified public accountant licensed in the State of Virginia. She has a Master's of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary, and Master's of Information Technology and Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from The George Washington University.
