In her role as Regional Director, Ms. Bell assists early stage technology-based businesses to become more competitive by providing access to the full range of programs and services of CIT. These services include basic business planning and market research, access to information briefs, federal grants and contract assistance, university expertise, and entrepreneurial support. Prior to assuming her current role in 2003, Ms. Bell served as a client coordinator in the Richmond Regional Office and as the regional team's marketing coordinator. Before joining CIT in 1999, Ms. Bell was a research coordinator with the University of Virginia's Plastic Surgery Research team.

Ms. Bell holds a bachelor's of science in Health Policy from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master's of Business Administration from Averett University.
