As Vice President of Enterprise Systems Security at ManTech Security Technologies Corporation, Colonel Richard A. Muirragui (retired) is responsible for business development operations, strategic planning, and relationships with both Government and commercial entities at ManTech International Corporation. He was responsible for providing integrated physical, technical, and cyber security and risk management solutions for federal customers. Mr. Muirragui led ManTech’s support of Secure Messaging and Secure Enterprise Architecture Solutions for the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and the Information Resource Management Bureau within the U.S. Department of State. In this capacity, he oversaw and supported worldwide network operations, information assurance and security protections for the Department of State and for the Defense Commissary Agency. Further, his team of Technical Security and Safeguard experts provided counterintelligence defenses for various Federal agencies.
Prior to joining ManTech, he was President of Systematic Software Engineering, Inc., where he directed a management and engineering staff in support of state-of-the art programs for command and control. With IBM –which became Loral and then Lockheed Martin – he was the worldwide implementation manager for Defense Message System (DMS). Mr. Muirragui led the design, engineering, and configuration efforts, and implementation for an eventual user-base of approximately 2 million users. Mr. Muirragui retired from the US Army Signal Corps with over 24 years of service. As a Signal Officer, he supported Combat Arms commanders at every echelon and level of command. His last military assignment as Director of DISA Pentagon Operations included support to the Joint Staff and all of the Commanders-in-Chief; his highest military award is the Defense Meritorious Service medal He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Purdue University and is a graduate of the Army War College. |
